Some JSM Scopes scopes cannot be consented to for Forge apps

We have identified the cause of this issue related to a configuration of these specific JSM scopes and a change recently introduced in the Oauth consent screen filtering logic for scopes to include in the grant. A change to the configuration of these scopes has been applied and verified to address this reported issue.

This incident is now resolved.

Investigating

We are investigating an issue reported to Atlassian where some Jira Service Management OAuth Scopes cannot be consented to in Forge Apps. This would impact new users of these apps. This impacts each app's ability to call Jira Service Management APIs that requires these scopes when using the asUser function. API calls will return 403 errors.

The affected scopes are:
read:servicedesk-request
manage:servicedesk-customer
write:servicedesk-request
