This incident has been resolved. A fix was deployed on 2024-01-22 15:00 UTC which have mitigated the issue.
Re-installation of the app will trigger the lifecycle hook which will allow app to complete installation process.

Identified
We have identified an intermittent problem installing some Forge apps on Confluence. This only impacts Forge apps that have migrated from Connect. The error message is "LIFECYCLE_HOOK_FAILED: Request to <> failed. Check the app host is available and try again."
If you observe this error, retrying the installation may resolve the issue.
We are investigating the root cause and will provide an update once we have more information.
