Atlassian Connect: dropdown buttons on Jira software boards are not redirecting to app

Between 2025-02-21 5:20 UTC and 2025-02-26 12:20 UTC an incremental deployment of change in relation to dropdown buttons on Jira software boards introduced regression causing buttons provided by apps to not function correctly.

The observed behavior on customer side was that clicking a button wasn't triggering any action, where it was expected that user should be redirected to app UI. This issue was only affecting actions which trigger page navigation - apps using modal dialog were not affected. This problem has been resolved at 12:20 UTC.

Due to technical mechanism of release, a small portion of users may be still affected until board page is refreshed - please advice customers to reload page if the issue still persist.
